The Norwegian Agricultural Agency

The Agricultural Directorate provides professional advice, implements agricultural policy, and facilitates agriculture and the food industry. They contribute to ensuring a good knowledge base and provide advice on instruments within agricultural policy.

Core AV delivered equipment to all the Agricultural Directorate's locations in 2019.

In 2022, the Oslo branch moved into new premises at Valle View in Oslo. During the pandemic, the use of video meetings has changed and become even more critical for the business.

In close collaboration with the customer, it was decided to equip all meeting rooms in Oslo with Teams-certified solutions. Screens, mounts, and some audio equipment have been reused.

The larger rooms have received dedicated Teams Room solutions, most with a dual-screen setup and a dual-camera solution. One camera points towards the person presenting in front of the room and follows them seamlessly.

The other camera points towards the audience and shows them with Auto Framing.

Sound quality is highly prioritized, and in the largest rooms, AI-driven microphone and speaker solutions have been used to provide close and good sound from the rooms.

In the smaller rooms, setups have been arranged for running video meetings from personal laptops (BYOT), and 'front-of-room' solutions with cameras, microphones, and speakers integrated into a panel were chosen based on the size of the rooms.

A video-centric meeting room for 3-4 people has been built, meaning the room is primarily used for video meetings. This has created a unique closeness and improved dialogue between departments.

We have also delivered an information screen solution, so that shared internal information can be displayed on screens in social areas, kitchens, and in the various departments and across the offices.

Booking screens have been implemented outside the meeting rooms for good visibility of status, easy booking, and, not least, automatic release of meetings that have been booked but do not take place.

Capacity and functionality in the building in Oslo has been expanded by equipping a larger social area with video solutions. A large wall-mounted screen serves as an information screen on a daily basis, while large meetings can also be held here with the same user interface and the same high quality in camera and audio solutions.

A mobile streaming/recording studio has also been delivered. This operates completely independently for webinars, presentations, and larger events, while also being easily connectable with the video solutions in the social area and the meeting rooms.
